Paul Guest, winner of the 2002 New Issues Poetry Prize for his first poetry collection The Resurrection of the Body and the Ruin of the World, was just awarded a Whiting Writers’ Award, which carries a $50,000 prize. Paul's second book, Notes for My Body Double, won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry. He teaches at the University of West Georgia.

Paul Guest Wins Whiting
